My love of androgony hails from Helmut Newtons iconic, sultry photograph of a woman dressed in YSL's Le smoking. I love the image and how it changed the idea of women's fashions and also what it stated at the time of the shot. So when I read an article about YSL's new label,
Unisex YSL, I became very enthusiaistic to read on.
YSL's Creative director Stefano Pilati, has created a collection that takes pieces from the menswear collection and has adapted the garments for the female form. The clothes have simple elegance and are in a lovely colour palette of greys, beiges and black.
Yummy.
